1. Service
Aegis Preorder ("the App") helps Shopify merchants run pre-orders: capture a deposit (or full amount) at checkout, place a Shopify fulfillment hold so pre-orders don't ship early, and automatically charge the remaining balance against the customer's vaulted payment method when the balance becomes due (on fulfillment, at a scheduled time, or a set period after checkout), with automatic retries (dunning) if a charge fails. The App is provided on an "as is" basis.
2. Plans & billing
The App is offered on three flat monthly plans — Starter ($19/month), Growth ($49/month), and Pro ($99/month) — each with a 14-day free trial and 0% commission (no percentage of your pre-order revenue). There is no free plan. Billing is handled by Shopify managed pricing and is subject to Shopify's billing terms; you can change or cancel from your Shopify admin at any time.
3. Payments & deferred charges
Deposits and balances are captured through Shopify's checkout and payment infrastructure using the customer's vaulted payment method. Deferred balance capture depends on the store's payment provider supporting Shopify deferred payments. The App initiates charges against the amount owed; it does not store raw card data.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App in compliance with Shopify's terms and applicable law, and to accurately disclose pre-order terms (deposit amount, balance timing, and expected fulfillment) to your customers. The App assists with pre-order operations but does not constitute financial or legal advice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for charges, holds, or fulfillments that succeed or fail due to misconfiguration, payment-provider limitations, third-party outages, or order paths outside the App's control. Allocation-cap tracking is best-effort; see the app listing for details.
6. Termination
You may uninstall the App at any time; doing so cancels billing and triggers deletion of your store data per our Privacy Policy.
